2025-11-06 21:49
Today marked the opening of the Fourth St. Petersburg Tax Forum—one of the key autumn events in the field of tax administration and public governance.

This year's forum coincides with a celebratory occasion: the Federal Tax Service of Russia is marking its 35th anniversary. The central theme is the implementation of human-centric principles in public administration, reflecting the current development vector of the tax system and its interaction with society.

The agenda includes discussions on trends in tax control, tax debt management, issues of property taxation, personal income tax (PIT), insurance contributions, international taxation, as well as the latest changes regarding profit tax and VAT.

The forum's work began with the seminar "Tax-Pro. Property Taxes. PIT and Insurance Contributions" and the Youth Forum "FTS-35: Growing Together," where participants discussed the essence and specifics of public service in the 21st century.

Special attention this year is given to educational formats: the program for the first time includes applied TAX LAB sessions: School for Taxpayers. Attendees of the school's first session examined practical questions related to profit tax and the tourist tax.

Since morning, the venue has been hosting individual and group consultations on the Federal Tax Service's electronic services and taxation matters for individuals and legal entities.

The forum will continue with discussion sessions involving the leadership and specialists of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, the Government of St. Petersburg, public associations and organizations, and business representatives.

The company RESTEC, the forum operator, thanks all participants for their interest and active engagement in the forum's work.

We wish you fruitful discussions, new professional insights, and constructive solutions!
