Industry Dialogue in Action: Launch of the Biofuel Congress and the "Sawmill Production" Conference

On March 24, two industry projects by RESTEC — the Biofuel Congress and the "Sawmill Production" conference — kicked off simultaneously. The events are being held in parallel at the Saint Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The events bring together specialists from the timber industry, equipment manufacturers, wood processors, market experts, and business representatives. The key professional objective is to discuss practical solutions for the industry: from efficient use of wood resources and waste processing to technological modernization of enterprises and the search for new markets and products.

The Biofuel Congress program includes an analysis of the current state of the timber industry, prospects for energy recovery from wood waste, development of biofuel sectors, and issues of technological processing of low-demand wood. Special attention is given to project economics, equipment, and industry staffing challenges.

The "Sawmill Production" conference focuses on practical aspects of enterprise operations: trends in the lumber market, raw material supply, productivity improvement, process automation, and production modernization.
