Orthodox Culture Week: The Orthodox Russia Winter Exhibition and Fair has opened

The winter exhibition-fair "Orthodox Russia" has opened in Kirov Recreation Center on Vasilyevsky Island.
An icon of St. Blessed Xenia of St. Petersburg was brought from the Church of St. Basil the Great in the Aspen Grove to worship the faithful. A prayer service for the beginning of a new and good cause and the consecration of the exhibition were performed by Priest Sergius Uchaneishvili, a cleric of the Church of St. Peter the Great. The exhibition once again brought together about 100 Russian and foreign participants: monasteries, temples, icon painting and jewelry workshops, publishing houses, secular organizations associated with the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as craft and monastery workshops, farms and peasant farms.
Among the participants: St. Elisavetinsky Monasteries (Minsk), Publishing houses "Tsarskoe Delo" and "Society in Memory of Abbess Taisiya", workshops of decorative and applied arts "LiK" (Zlatoust), Monastery of the Holy Trinity (Serbia), monasteries of St. Equal-to-the-Apostles. St. Mary Magdalene (Jerusalem and Kuban), Zadonsky Nativity-Bogoroditsky Monastery and others.
The exhibition also features a stand in Memory of Priest Anatoly Pershin, and in the conference hall there is a photo exhibition "How I want purity ..." dedicated to the blessed memory of Father Anatoly.
As part of the cultural and educational program, prepared in collaboration with the Orthodox Studio of St. Petersburg and the Philharmonic of Souls Creative Association, concerts, book presentations, meetings with priests, and other useful and exciting events will take place daily.
