Today, a conference titled "Sawmill Production" was held at the Saint Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was organized by the RESTEC Exhibition Association in collaboration with the LESSTEKH Association.
The central theme of the conference was the question of maintaining production line efficiency and modernizing equipment under the pressure of sanctions.
The conference program included sessions dedicated to the timber market, modern technologies and equipment, and wooden house construction. A separate block was focused on the implementation of IT tools in production. An important part of the program was the Meeting of the Expert Council of Sawmill Enterprises, which highlighted the significance of professional dialogue and experience exchange.
During the discussions, speakers and participants outlined the key priorities for the industry's development:
The conference demonstrated that the industry—represented by experts, technology companies, and manufacturers—is confidently transitioning from a reactive response to external challenges towards the proactive formation of its own technological strategy.
RESTEC thanks the participants and partners of the event for their active engagement and shared commitment to achieving high results through professional discussion.
We look forward to meeting you at the Conference in 2026!
