Easter "Orthodox Rus": A Week of Encounters, Meaning, and Traditions

The 43rd All-Russian Exhibition "Orthodox Rus" has concluded its work, leaving behind not just memories but a special atmosphere — bright, creative, and unifying.

The spiritual center of the exhibition was the Icon of the Savior Not Made by Hands. A thanksgiving moleben (prayer service) was held before the holy icon, led by Priest Sergiy Uchaneyishvili, a cleric of the Church of St. Basil the Great in Osinovaya Roshcha.

Throughout the week, the exhibition space was filled with vibrant activity: visitors came to venerate the holy sites, chose icons and books, discovered the works of artisans and monastic farms, participated in discussions, watched films, and attended concerts.

Of particular value to visitors was the participation of monasteries from different regions of Russia and abroad. This was a rare opportunity — without leaving the city — to connect with the life of the monasteries, submit prayer requests, and learn more about their history and present-day way of life.

The exposition was further enriched by churches, workshops, publishing houses, and organizations whose activities are connected with the Russian Orthodox Church, traditional culture, and craftsmanship. Exhibitor booths featured books, a wide variety of icons, stunningly beautiful artisan works, and other interesting goods.

The cultural and educational program, prepared jointly with the creative association "Philharmonia of the Soul" and the Orthodox Studio of Petersburg, drew audiences every day for meetings, concerts, and film screenings.

We thank everyone who became part of this exhibition — participants, partners, and visitors.

See you in the autumn: October 30 – November 5, 2026, at the DK Kirov on Vasilyevsky Island!
