See you in February: the autumn fair "Orthodox Russia" has ended

The traditional celebrations of November 4th—the Feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and National Unity Day—once again served as the occasion for the autumn exhibition-fair "Orthodox Rus."

A thanksgiving prayer service was held before the main sacred items of the exhibition: the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and the icon of St. Martiriy of Zelenets from the Holy Trinity Zelenetsky Monastery of the Tikhvin Diocese.

Throughout the week, residents of St. Petersburg could visit the exhibition to ask for heavenly intercession from the brought sacred items, receive spiritual support, participate in interesting conversations and educational lectures, listen to beautiful concerts, and make useful and pleasant purchases.

Representatives from many Russian and international monasteries came to St. Petersburg to participate in the exhibition, allowing visitors, without leaving the city, to submit prayer requests for distant monasteries and purchase products from monastic farms: candles, honey, fragrant incense, etc., as well as learn much interesting information about the history and modern life of these cloisters.

The exhibition also featured participation from churches, workshops, Orthodox publishing houses, and secular organizations whose activities are connected with the Russian Orthodox Church, traditional culture, and crafts. The stands displayed books, various icons, items of astonishing beauty crafted by masters, and other interesting goods.

An open conference hall hosted a photo exhibition titled "How One Longs for Purity..." dedicated to the blessed memory of Priest Anatoly Pershin.

Within the cultural and educational program prepared by the creative association "AbiArt"—headed by Anna Abikulova—lectures, creative meetings, discussions, film screenings, and concerts were held daily.

We thank all participants and guests of the concluded exhibition and look forward to meeting you at the winter exhibition-fair "Orthodox Rus" on Vasilievsky Island at the Kirov Palace of Culture, which will take place from February 3 to 9, 2026!
