The General Director of RESTEC took part in the Strategic Session on the Development of Congress and Exhibition Activities, held on May 25, 2026, at the PetroCongress Convention Center. The event took the form of an open joint meeting of the industry commission "Congress and Exhibition Alliance of St. Petersburg" under the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Commission for Business Tourism Development under the Public Council of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg.
The session was organized by SPb SBU "Convention and Exhibition Bureau". The preparation and execution of the event involved the Congress and Exhibition Alliance of St. Petersburg under the St. Petersburg CCI, the Commission for Business Tourism Development under the Public Council of the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg, and the School of the Roscongress Foundation. The event was held with the support of the Committee for Exhibition, Fair and Congress Activities of the Russian CCI, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, and the National Congress Bureau.
The strategic session addressed key issues concerning the further development of congress and exhibition activities in Russia and St. Petersburg. The participants focused on the following:
