On April 16, the Easter exhibition "Orthodox Rus" opened on Vasilyevsky Island!
For the veneration of the faithful, the icon of the Savior Not Made by Hands has been brought from the Church of St. Basil the Great in Osinovaya Roshcha. A moleben (prayer service) for the start of a new and good cause and the blessing of the exhibition was conducted by Priest Sergiy Uchaneyishvili, a cleric of the Church of St. Basil the Great.
Both organizations well-known and beloved by the residents of St. Petersburg, as well as rare guests, have come to the exhibition: the Publishing House of the Moscow Patriarchate, the Skudelnik Porcelain Manufactory, the Society in Memory of Abbess Taisia, the Monastery of St. Sergius of Radonezh (Montenegro), the Monastery of St. Mary Magdalene Equal-to-the-Apostles (Jerusalem), the Holy Epiphany-Kuteinsky Monastery (Belarus), the Zadonsky Nativity of the Theotokos Monastery, the Simansky Spaso-Kazan Convent, the Michael the Archangel Monastery (Ust-Vym village), the Holy Ascension Monastery (Khoroshee village), the Bishop's Metochion of the Dormition Zheltikov Monastery, "Solovki Products," "Valaam Coffee," and other long-awaited and trusted participants.
As part of the cultural and educational program, prepared in collaboration with the "Orthodox Studio of Petersburg" and the creative association "Philharmonia of the Soul," concerts, film screenings, book presentations, and creative meetings will be held daily.
