The award ceremony for the winners of the "Best Innovation Project and Best Scientific-Technical Development of the Year" competition took place in St. Petersburg. Established by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Russia in 1996, this event has been a key instrument for supporting knowledge-intensive solutions for three decades.
The ceremony was opened by Dmitry Nikitin, CEO of RESTEC. In his welcoming speech, he noted that the competition today serves as a real bridge between laboratories and the industrial sector. In 2026, its mission remains large in scope: from identifying and promoting innovative projects in domestic and foreign markets to stimulating breakthrough solutions for national challenges. Serving as a link for investors and engaging talented youth in the R&D sphere, the competition continues to effectively drive industrial modernization and the search for new points of economic growth.
