Originally, the “OMR 2026” was planned as a single event. This year, however, the conference and exhibition parts will be held in a renewed format as two separate events.
The OMR 2026 Conference will take place on 6–9 October 2026.
The Organising and Programme Committees have decided to hold the conference on shipbuilding and high‑tech equipment for Arctic and continental shelf development in accordance with the previously approved timeline set by the instruction of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
The first plenary session, “Strategic Priorities for the Development of Continental Shelf and Coastal Zone Resources in the Arctic and the Far East” (moderated by Academician S.L. Chernyshev, Vice‑President of the Russian Academy of Sciences), will take place on 6 October 2026 at the Mariinsky Palace.
Session meetings, youth sessions and round tables will be held on 6–9 October 2026 at the Airportcity Plaza Congress Hotel.
The final plenary session and the Scientific‑Expert Council under the Maritime Board will be held, as originally scheduled, on 9 October 2026 at the Mariinsky Palace, chaired by M.V. Kovalchuk, President of the National Research Centre “Kurchatov Institute”.
The OMR Exhibition will take place in 2027.
The exact dates of the exhibition will be announced additionally in the near future.
