Technology and Cooperation: Results of the PTY, HI-TECH, and St. Petersburg Industrial Congress Exhibitions

From April 14 to 16, 2026, a series of industrial events organized by the RESTEC exhibition association took place in St. Petersburg, including the XXII International Industrial Exhibition "Petersburg Technical Fair" (PTY), the XXXII International Innovation Exhibition HI-TECH, and the VII St. Petersburg Industrial Congress.

The project brought together the professional community to showcase technologies and discuss applied challenges in industrial development. The events were attended by more than 3,800 specialists from Russia and foreign countries. The exhibition brought together companies and organizations from Russia, the Republic of Belarus, and China, while the visitor geography covered countries in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

The central element was the exhibition exposition, which featured modern materials, equipment, and technological solutions — from serial products to promising developments. Participants demonstrated solutions for mechanical engineering, instrument engineering, additive and laser technologies, as well as digitalization of production processes, providing a comprehensive overview of the current level and directions of technological development in the industry.

On April 14, the Supplier Exchange was held at the exhibition venue, aimed at developing industrial cooperation. 37 companies presented solutions in metalworking, tool production, engineering, and IT for industry. During the Exchange, negotiations were held with major customers, and agreements on further cooperation were reached.

On April 14–15, sessions and roundtables were held as part of the Industrial Congress, dedicated to industrial support measures, the implementation of artificial intelligence, the development of additive and laser technologies, as well as issues of machine tool building and mechanical engineering.

On April 16, a meeting of the Council of Chief Metrologists took place, where issues of technical re-equipment of enterprises, import substitution, and the development of domestic production of measuring instruments were discussed.

The events concluded with the awards ceremony for the competition "Best Innovation Project and Best Scientific-Technical Development of the Year." More details about the competition can be found here.

The series of events demonstrated the effectiveness of the format implemented by the RESTEC team as a platform for professional interaction, demonstration of technological solutions, and the development of cooperative ties in industry. RESTEC thanks the participants, partners, and visitors for their collaborative work, meaningful professional dialogue, and contribution to the development of the industry.
