The General Director of the RESTEC Exhibition Association took part in the opening of the St. Petersburg International Timber Industry Forum

On September 30, 2025, the 27th St. Petersburg International Timber Industry Forum, one of the key platforms for discussing topical issues of the development of the timber industry, began its work at the Airportcity Plaza.

On behalf of the event's organizing company, Dmitry Anatolyevich Nikitin, General Director of LLC "EC" RESTEC ", welcomed the participants:

In their welcoming speeches, the speakers expressed confidence that the forum would once again confirm its importance: for many years, the platform has successfully fulfilled its main tasks — it helps to develop points of convergence at the national and international levels, and also provides effective communication between business, government and the expert community.

The first day of the forum began with a plenary discussion "Russian LPC: estimates, trends, forecasts". The moderator was Timur Irtuganov, General Director of the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry Enterprises of Russia.

Leading experts took part in the discussion of economic issues, investment projects, trends, competition and nuances of production in the timber industry, including: Alexander Tambi (LESTECH Association), Alexander Shangin (JSC "Group of Companies "VLP"), Viktor Grigoriev (PJSC "Bank of Saint Petersburg"), Svyatoslav Bychkov ("Ilim Timber"), Alexander Mariev (FSBI "Roslesinforg") and other specialists.
