The grand festive day, which brought together the XI International Parade of Retro Vehicles, two exhibition displays, and a spectacular gala concert, served as the final chord of the VII International Transport Festival "TransportFest 2026".
As part of the retro parade, 323 units of unique vehicles took to the streets of St. Petersburg — matching the number of years since the city's founding. Buses, trolleybuses, passenger cars, and special vehicles from museums and private collections traveled through the city center, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of living history, where transport from different eras became part of the modern urban rhythm for several hours.
The evening concluded with a gala concert on the main stage, gathering thousands of spectators. Performing for the guests were People's Artist of Russia Vasily Gerello, Honored Artist of Russia Igor Kornelyuk, Andrey Lyzin and the band "Skoraya Pomoshch", the ensemble "Belarusian Legends", "Singing Guitars", and the band "Black Coffee". Music from different eras and genres provided an emotional finale to the grand transport celebration.
The festival is over, but another important stage awaits the RESTEC team: summing up, analyzing results, and preparing for new projects. We will soon publish festival statistics.
TransportFest has once again shown that transport can be not only part of urban infrastructure but also a true cultural event that brings together people, ideas, and emotions. We sincerely thank the participants, partners, and guests of the festival — you help us grow and make the project even larger in scale!
